Pascal Botteron, CEO
Pascal Botteron has led teams in alternatives, risk management, portfolio management and impact investing for the last 20 years. He has worked 13 years at Deutsche Bank in several global roles based in the UK and Switzerland as Global Head of Alternative Investments and long-only in Wealth Management (including managers research & due diligence, product development, and fund of funds management); Global Head of Alternatives Distribution in Asset Management (private equity, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure & impact investing); and Global Head of Product Marketing and Digital Transition in Wealth Management.
Pascal Botteron has also worked at Bank J. Safra Sarasin and Pictet & Cie in Product Development and Business Development roles, KPMG, Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young in Risk Consulting roles.
Pascal Botteron has been a Professor and Lecturer at the University of Lausanne, the Swiss banking School, Thunderbird, the University of Zurich and HEC Paris, lecturing on derivatives, risks and asset valuation. He holds a PhD in Finance, a Master of Science in Economics and a License in Economics from the University of Lausanne.
Isabelle Djian, COO, Head of Trading
Isabelle Djian has worked in the financial industry for the last 20 years, starting with JP Morgan. She traded government bonds and equity derivatives before joining a hedge fund, where she built quantitative investment and trading models. Isabelle Djian then joined a fund of hedge funds where she was part of the investment committee, overseeing due diligence and selecting managers. In 2003 she joined Winton Capital Management as part of their new business development initiative. Isabelle witnessed the growth of assets from a few hundred million dollars to a multi-billion dollar institutional entity.
In 2005 Isabelle Djian moved from London to Geneva and created Mistral Advisors SA, a FINMA regulated distributor, to cover Winton's Swiss, French, and Benelux markets. In late 2018, she co-founded Green Blue Invest with a strong belief that finance has the capacity and responsibility to contribute to positive outcomes for society. As COO, Isabelle Djian currently oversees all operations, contract negotiation, fund structuring and trading.
Isabelle Djian holds a master's degree in econometrics from La Sorbonne University and a post-graduate degree in international finance from HEC business school in Paris. As part of the Erasmus Program, she earned an additional master's degree in econometrics from the University of Amsterdam. She is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and has a diploma from the Non-Executive Directorship (NED) program run by the Financial Times in London.
Julien Dif, Head of Legal and Compliance
For more than 20 years, Julien Dif has been a practising lawyer in collective investment schemes in Switzerland, Luxembourg and the United Arab Emirates. His work covers all aspects of fund setup and distribution, thereby ensuring compliance with the requirements of legislators and regulatory agencies. In addition, Julien regularly advises on estate planning, trusts and foundations. He also acts for large banking institutions and trust companies on a variety of tax law issues.
Admitted to the bar in Geneva and Luxembourg, Julien holds degrees in International Law (LL.M., University of Nice), English Law (LL.B., King’s College, London), and French Law (Sorbonne University, Paris). He also earned the Swiss Advanced Certificate in Trust Management (Geneva) and a Postgraduate Degree in International Finance (Paris). He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Pierre-Edouard Coiffard has over 20 years of experience in asset management with 360-degree competencies, including investment management, business development, product development (design of bespoke end-to-end investment solutions), operations and compliance. More specifically, he has an extensive background in portfolio management, sourcing, analyzing and monitoring managers and strategies, across all styles and asset classes, including liquid systems (long-only and hedge funds) to less liquid methods (private equity/debt, infrastructure, physical assets). Pierre-Edouard Coiffard now works as an investment consultant and partners with best-in-class investment managers/advisors specializing in sustainable development, ESG and impact investing.
Pierre-Edouard Coiffard previously worked as Managing Director at Laven Partners and was Head of Research and CIO at Olympia Capital Management, Integrated Asset Management and Altigefi. Before moving into hedge funds, he was a consultant in the Finance Department at Deloitte Touche & Tohmatsu.
Pierre-Edouard Coiffard holds an MBA from ESSEC and is a graduate engineer from Ecole Centrale de Marseille.
